Is the ticketshop available in other languages?

The ticketshop is only available in English.

I want to get to alpbach. how can I get an on-site ticket?

You can purchase on-site or digital tickets here. The current legal regulations and our own security and prevention concept allow us to welcome up to 1,000 participants per day in Alpbach. This number of visitors also includes speakers, scholarship holders and partner delegations and corresponds to about half of the guests usually present at the Forum.

How can I get access to the digital conference of the European Forum Alpbach 2021?

In order to participate in the digital conference with top-class speakers, you have to purchase a ticket. One ticket is valid for ten days and costs 90 EUR. In the course of the ticket purchase and registration process you will receive an access link (magic link) to the digital conference platform Hopin.
Paid on-site tickets already include access to the digital conference.

I have a ticket-code, how can I access my ticket?

If you have received a ticket-code, please enter your ticket-code in the intended field on our ticketing page. In case you have already accessed the ticketshop, you can still enter your ticket-code in the course of the purchasing process.

i am a member of ö1. how can i get my discount?

You are entitled to -10 % (on-site attendance only). Send us an email before you finish your registration to registration@alpbach.org with a confirmation of the membership attached - as well as with the information which event you would like to attend.

i used to receive a discount as a student/scholarship holder. does this still exist?

No, unfortunately we can't grant you a discount as a student/scholarship holder any longer. If funded tickets become available for young participants or students, you will find this information on our website. If you have applied for a scholarship, the European Forum Alpbach Foundation will contact you soon. For any other questions or inquiries, please contact scholarships@alpbach.org.

Can I pass on my ticket to someone else?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to pass on your ticket since the email address for registration needs to be the participant’s personal email and it needs to be confirmed by the participant. Also, every participant needs to personally agree to the terms of conditions of the conference to be able to participate. The personal email address serves as a unique identifier which further grants access to the digital conference platform Hopin.

Can I cancel my ticket purchase and get a refund?

Can I buy tickets in bulk?

Unfortunately, bulk purchase of tickets is not possible, since the email address for registration needs to be the participant’s personal email and it needs to be confirmed by the participant. Also, every participant needs to personally agree to the terms of conditions of the conference to be able to participate.

When I enter my email address, i get an error message or can only buy a ticket for the digital conference. how can i access my ticket?

Please make sure to enter the same email address, from which you have received the invitation link. The personal email address serves as a unique identifier which further grants access to your on-site or digital conference ticket.

I didn't receive a Ticket-code. how can i proceed?

I receive the notification "Please fill out this field" and can't find the missing field. What do i do?

I haven't received an Email after purchasing a ticket. What do I do?

We kindly ask for your patience. It may take up to 20 minutes for any email, as well as the receipt to arrive in your inbox. Please make sure to also check your spam folder. If you didn't receive any confirmation email, neither in your inbox nor spam, please contact registration@alpbach.org.

Please check if you have filled in all mandatory fields, that are marked with a *. Not all mandatory fields are tagged red, therefore please double check.

A ticket-code is not mandatory for the ticket purchase. If you have not received a ticket code - simply select your desired ticket(s) above and then click "checkout" at the bottom.

How can i stay informed on the status of my ticket purchase? 

You can click on the invitation link you have received by us as many times as you wish. The ticketshop will automatically show you the updated status of your purchased or available tickets.

Which payment options are there?

A ticket purchase is possible by commonly used credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, etc.), as well as SEPA payment. Please be aware that the payment processing by SEPA payment may take up to 7 days. After the receipt of the payment the EFA will send you a registration confirmation (including the Hopin Magic Link).
